Terms and Conditions

The Programme

The purpose of this exercise programme is for an apparently healthy adult to improve fitness, muscle tone and strength, endurance and flexibility and may include activities such as running, stretching, weights and using standard gym equipment. The programme is based on your present activity/fitness levels and the goals that you wish to achieve. Each part of the programme will be fully explained and demonstrated by your trained instructor. The programme will begin with a warm up and finish with a cool down, incorporating stretches designed to improve flexibility. Please feel free to ask questions at any time. You will experience some feelings of exertion during each session and will become hot and uncomfortable at times. Your breathing and heart rate will increase as a result of these activities, as would be expected from physical exercise of this type. As your fitness improves, you will participate in more vigorous levels of activity, but these should remain within your capabilities. Any exercise programme carries with it an element of risk. The sessions are designed to minimise risks whilst providing an effective total body workout. You are advised to start slowly and increase your level of activity slowly whatever level you are currently at. If, at any time, you feel undue pain or excessive discomfort STOP THE ACTIVITY and inform the instructor of your symptoms. YOU ARE FREE TO WITHDRAW FROM AN ACTIVITY AT ANY TIME. Before taking part in any sessions you must complete a PARQ fitness questionnaire either online or hardcopy that your trainer carries with them.

Data Protection

Any information given by you may be kept as information recorded in a form that can be processed automatically. The information will be kept confidential to your instructor and will not be distributed to a third party. From time to time, we may take photographs of our classes. By making payment, you agree to your photograph being taken. We also reserve the right to use these images for our website and promotional material. If you have supplied an email address you will automatically be subscribed to the Hope Fitness Mailing list, of which you can unsubscribe at any time.

Booking, Payment and Cancellation

Once you have paid for the classes, you are not able to cancel or transfer your purchase. If your training has not started, you may cancel your booking within 7 working days after the date of your order confirmation and we will reimburse the purchase price within 30 days of the date of cancellation. In the event that a class cannot go ahead, for example if the trainer was suddenly ill, you will be notified of this via email, website and social media as soon as possible. In case of serious injury or illness we will allow you to carry your sessions over to the following term with a full medical certificate.

  • Monthly payments – these must be paid by regular standing order. Your training commences as soon as initial payment has been made. There is no minimum term, you may cancel at anytime.
  • Block payments  – this for any five sessions to be used within 3 months of first session. These can be paid by cash, cheque or BACs. These are for individual use only and are not transferable to another client. Your instructor will remind you when you have one session remaining in your current block.
Statement by Client

By accepting these terms and condition, you agree to the following statements:

  • I have volunteered to take part in this exercise programme.
  • The structure, purpose, benefits and risks of the session have been explained to me.
  • I know I can stop taking part at any time without being disadvantaged.
  • I agree to inform the instructor immediately I am in pain or I feel any discomfort.
  • I have the chance to ask questions if I need to.
  • I am satisfied that any information about me will be stored confidentially.
