I need another Angela…

…would you like to be part of Hope Fitness?

6_editWhat is Hope Fitness all about?

Hope Fitness is an expanding fitness community, based in Kesgrave, mainly catering for the “school run mum”. The outdoor fitness classes started in March 2014, when two friends and fellow mums asked me if I would put on a group exercise session for a small group of ladies early on a Sunday morning, so that they could have that hour of ‘me time’ and still get home for plenty of that all important family time. One year on, one class has expanded to four and going strong.

I founded Hope Fitness in 2011 after having my second child because I needed a work solution that would fit around my family. I already had personal training experience and started by teaching a buggy fitness class. I now teach four outdoor fitness classes and two fitness yoga classes per week. There is also the Hope runners, who meet once a week for a 5k run. I still offer a personal training service but there is a much greater emphasis on the group exercise sessions. I also encourage my clients to participate in team events such as Kesgrave 5k, Race For Life, Insane Terrain and The Whole Hog.

What do we want from you?

I would like to increase the number of outdoor group fitness classes on the Hope Fitness timetable. I need an honest and reliable fitness instructor/personal trainer to join my team, who can empathise with the current client base and who can play an integral part in building a bigger and better community.

  • Plan, prepare and deliver three outdoor fitness classes per week (preferably one evening, one weekday and a Saturday morning) in the Kesgrave area.
  • Complete simple class administration
  • Be available for holiday and sickness cover
  • Participate in Team Hope events and social occasions
  • Take an active role in the social media aspect of Hope Fitness (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Pinterest)
Pre-requisites
  • Level 3 Personal Trainer/Advanced Fitness Instructor
  • Level 3 Pre and Postnatal Qualification (or working towards)
  • Evidence of CPD (Career Progression Development)
  • Public Liability Insurance
  • Basic First Aid (inc. CPR)
What’s in it for me?
  • The chance to be part of an exciting, growing community
  • Use of a customer booking system
  • Personal training opportunities
  • Paid regardless of class attendance; the client base and marketing is already there for you.
  • Free exercise classes
  • Bonuses for loyalty and initiative.
  • HF branded clothing
What do I need to do next?

Send a copy of your CV and covering email to angela@hopefitness.co.uk.

What happens next?

If you have ticked all the boxes then I will be in touch to arrange a meeting with you over coffee where I can tell you a bit more about Hope Fitness and its ethic. The next step will be to ask you to plan, prepare and deliver an outdoor fitness class to one of my already established groups. If, by mutual agreement, we like what we see, then you will be invited to join the Hope Fitness team on a three month trial basis.
